Chef Alexa Numkena-Anderson was born in Yakima, Washington and grew up on the Yakama Reservation in Toppenish, Washington. Alexa's Grandfather hails from the Hopi, a Sovereign Nation and Tribe in northeastern Arizona where they are both enrolled. Her family is also a descendant of the Yakama, Cree, and Skokomish Nations.

FRYBREAD is amazing. Food is always fresh. The crew are kind and proud. It's cozy here and has a great story. I've honestly never had anything that compares in Portland.
Ate there last week and it was perfect. Got the rabbit Verde soup, and bison sliders. They were perfect. And got a frybread which they always do great. Cute place, first time seeing them in it. Surprisingly great tea selection. Friendly & quick too
